Buying Li-Ning pre-owned
Better built than most of what arrives alongside it, and the pairs we see are often from the basketball and badminton lines rather than the casual ones. Badminton shoes are worth knowing about: they are made for indoor courts, so the outsole is gum rubber and it is almost unmarked even on a well used pair.
That clean outsole is exactly the case where the tread photograph tells you the least, so the heel foam check matters more here than anywhere. We press it and say what happened.
The uppers are heavily bonded rather than stitched, and the bond edges are where age shows first. Every edge gets a thumbnail before a pair goes up, because an edge that has started to lift will keep going and no glue we have puts it back.
