Buying XTEP pre-owned
Mostly running and training shoes, light, and usually arriving with less mileage than the price would suggest. The build is lighter than the western brands in the same category, which is a real advantage in this climate and a real limit on how long a pair lasts.
Thin mesh uppers are the thing to check. They wear through at the small toe from the inside out, so the damage shows on the outside only once it is well advanced. We look at the inside of the toe box on every pair.
Outsole rubber is soft and grips well on wet ground and wears quickly on rough ground. Where the tread has gone flat at the forefoot we say so and price accordingly.

Labelled in EU and centimetres. Treat the centimetre figure as the useful one and compare it with the insole measurement we publish.
