Buying Adidas pre-owned
Two completely different kinds of shoe arrive under this name and they age nothing alike. The leather three stripe court shoes are among the most durable things we handle: the sole is hard rubber, it wears slowly and evenly, and a ten year old pair can still have most of its life ahead of it.
Boost foam is the other kind and it is the one to read carefully. It stays soft for a long time but it yellows, and it picks up a grey cast from road grit that no cleaning fully lifts. We do not bleach it white for a photograph. What you see is the colour it is.
The heel tab and the stitching around it is where a worn pair shows its age first, before the sole does, so we photograph the back of every pair.
